Frequently asked questions about TicketTool
Here are the questions event organizers usually ask before starting with TicketTool: pricing, ticket shop setup, payments, seating charts, entrance control and technical launch.
Getting started
Who is TicketTool built for?
TicketTool is built for professional organizers, venues, theatres, clubs, circuses, festivals, restaurants and teams that need to sell tickets online and on site.
Is TicketTool a marketplace?
No. TicketTool is ticketing software for organizers. Your customers buy through your branded ticket shop, not through a public event marketplace.
How quickly can a ticket shop go live?
It depends on the setup. A simple ticket shop can be prepared quickly. Seating charts, payment provider setup, custom domains and special workflows need more preparation.
Pricing and payments
Is there a monthly platform fee?
In the standard model, there is no monthly platform fee. TicketTool uses a 2.5% service fee per ticket sold. Custom conditions can be discussed for large organizers.
Who receives the buyer payments?
TicketTool is designed so organizers keep control of sales. The exact payment flow depends on payment provider, country and setup and should be reviewed during launch.
Can I offer discounts or coupon codes?
Yes. TicketTool supports coupon codes, quotas, different ticket types, price zones and partner sales.
Ticket shop and brand
Can I use my own domain for the ticket shop?
Yes. TicketTool can run as a white-label ticket shop connected to your website and a dedicated subdomain, for example tickets.your-domain.com.
Will my brand stay visible during checkout?
Yes. Logo, colors, copy, languages, ticket templates and emails can be adapted to your brand.
Can TicketTool support multiple languages?
Yes. The exact language setup depends on the project. For the new website, we currently plan German and English, with more languages possible later.
Seating, box office and entrance control
Can I sell numbered seats?
Yes. TicketTool supports interactive seating charts with available, occupied and reserved seats, price zones and different venue layouts.
Can my team sell tickets at the box office?
Yes. Online ticket shop and box office sales can use the same ticket inventory, which helps prevent overbooking.
How does entrance control work?
Tickets can be checked at the entrance by QR code. This helps prevent duplicate entries and keeps attendance data clean.
